N2 TEEN VOLUNTEERING

Making a difference just one hour a week

VOLUNTEERING CAN CHANGE LIVES

YOU CAN MAKE A CHANGE
IN THE LIFE
OF SOMEONE TODAY
James Cash Penney once commented "How can we expect our children to know and experience the joy of giving, unless we teach them that the greater pleasure in life lies in the art of giving rather than receiving." His words have inspired me with my platform, N2 T.V. (Teen Volunteering), to inform teens that giving just one hour a week volunteering will not only change the lives of others, but also change theirs.
Volunteering could be helping an elderly neighbor with their yard work, visiting assisted living centers or nursing homes, playing with animals at an animal shelter or assisting the neighborhood school with any function they may have planned. Personally, I have embarked on many levels of volunteering that have given me great joy.

Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Whether you are packing boxes of food that will end up on the kitchen table of a family struggling with hunger or distributing bags of food to seniors living on fixed incomes, it all makes a difference.
